Deep trip

Faeries, come take me out of this dull world,
For I would ride with you upon the wind,
Run on the top of the dishevelled tide,
And dance upon the mountains like a flame
William Butler Yeats

Back in the nineties there was this popular song, a jazzy, groovy, hypnotic rap tune called Flip Fantasia. It was everywhere, so even a listener such as myself, who didn’t care much for popular music, was bound to bump into it eventually. And against the odds (and my musical snobbism, which managed to keep me away from MTV most of the time), I was hooked. Tempted? Join us on September 11th (Fantasy), unleash your inner romantic and enjoy a – let me use the rapper’s text here: “deep trip”.

Flip Fantasia? Flip reality!
